AV2B is our semi-automatic winding machine which winds stiff and elastic tapes and ribbons simultaneously into two bobbins. Only bobbin changing, tape cutting and fastening (hooking) must be carried out by human operator, whereas both tensioning control and winding stopping once the desired measurement is reached are fully automatic, thus making any further human intervention during the winding process unnecessary.
The benefits
- The machine winds small ribbons and tapes of variable elasticity (from stiff ones to very elastic), simultaneously into two bobbins.
- Only bobbin changing, tape cutting and fastening (hooking) must be carried out by human operator, whereas both tensioning control and winding stopping once the desired measurement is reached are fully automatic, thus making any further human intervention during the winding process unnecessary.
- Equipped with a pulling feeder, the device picks up very light and elastic tapes/ribbons from the bulk tape cases without damaging them and without reducing their elasticity.
- Equipped with an “anti-twisting” device, it prevents twists from forming in the wound reels.
- Equipped with a “no ribbon” and “knot passage” control system, the machine carefully stops the ribbon winding and facilitates connection with other ribbons or elimination of knots and other problems.
- Winding parameters and alarms are controlled via the keyboard.
